To keep it interesting from the last round, I set myself up certain rules to follow!\n\nThis round, I wanted to practice composition, use a limited amount of art supplies, all in preset 3inx3in squares (I did them by hand crudely, which is why the sizes dont perfectly match, haha). I also wanted to try to depict the world of Neopia as I imagine it personally (as someone who grew up with a very specific era of the site, which has changed in its sensibilities many times over the years!).\n\nI also wanted to include petpets and petpetpets (:! to help it feel more like a 'world', and to force more variety.\n\nIt took a bit over a week to finish these! I feel like I learned a lot doing them... the right amount of 'challenging' and 'fun'. \n\n[b]PAGE 1:[/b]\n-yellow Acara investigate the reef. a maraquan Acara hides amongst kelp, tempting with treasure. Floud swim by.\n\n-Buzz plucking fruit soar high above the treetops; one has (accidentally?) caught a Hasee.\n\n-a white Cybunny plays with her two white Garooda amongst the snowfall\n\n-A white and Checkered Draik on their non-Neopian homeworld. (Draik are said to have suddenly appeared in Neopia, as if from another world).\n\n-Snowbunny play with an Abominable Snowball (and steal its arm), while Bruce cavort and argue over who threw a snowball.\n\n-a Bori investigates a rumored cursed cavern. Glack and Mibblie chill about. The Bori power the lanterns lighting the caves with their own souls.\n\n-a faerie Chomby plays in the clouds with her Cloudy friend\n\n-a disco Blumaroo & its petpet, a Fungree, are plunged to the depths. a maraquan Blumaroo girlie flanked by Baby Blu investigate\n\n-plushie Flotsam in an oceanic plushie wonderland, with Plushie Felly & Urgoni \n\n[b]PAGE 2:[/b]\n- an orange Eyrie has caught & plucks a purple Magaral. Another stretches on the cliff's edge.\n\n- a yellow Elephante plucks fruit for her plushie friend.\n\n-a checkered Aisha, her Chiruck petpet & her dead younger brother-- his soul sealed to a satchel on her hip-- investigate a magical cavern & rumors surrounding it. He's concerned. Bloop are about.\n\n- an electric Gelert & its petpet, a Flurm, wind up trapped in a pit of Bogie.\n\n- Gnorbu & Slorgs munch grass\n\n- Chia prance and play in the distance, while a green Lupe hides and stalks them under cover of flowers\n\n- a Grarrl rips apart plushie Pawkeets and Snarhook for fun, lounging in a pile of spilled fluff.\n\n-three Ixi siblings prance about a field, and meet a faerie Peo\n\n-a ghost Grundo is greeted in the dead of space by Filamen \n\n[b]PAGE 3:[/b]\n- twin Shadow Kacheek seduce a girlie amongst the glowing Draphly\n\n- Black & Spotted Jetsam rip apart Tencals for fun\n\n- a baby Hissi climbs a tall golden stalked plant to meet a faerie Drugal\n\n- a ghost Koi in cavernous depths is comforted by two Catamara\n\n- Jubjubs in a pond with Greebles\n\n- Blorpulous harass Kau in a field\n\n- an Island Kougra tries to groom her fussy baby brother while Weewoo investigate baskets of gathered fruit.\n\n- a glowing Kiko dives in among Crabby & Quadrapus\n\n- a maraquan Korbat introduces a little pink girlie to maraquan Snarhooks \n\n[b]PAGE 4:[/b]\n- two white Kyrii girlies play with a faerie baby fireball amongst fluffy flowers\n\n- two Krawk girlies relax in a field and play with Glyme\n\n- a split Lupe young herder who prefers playing with her Babaa over guard duty.\n\n- a white Lenny practices her singing while soaring in the clouds; Faelie draw around.\n\n- Meerca run about the forest with their Noilkeet. Pinchit crawl about the brush.\n\n- a young sketch Nimmo meditates herself into an imaginary papercraft paradise, and builds Quintilc friends for company.\n\n- a Lutari paints tree trunks with the help of some Palmplats\n\n- a Mynci investigates a winding dungeon where Blobikins reside, including an unusually large one.\n\n- a young lost Ogrin weeps in the Lost Woods, while Greemble observe from vines.\nA Wraith Ogrin approaches from the distance, a magenta haze in its wake. \n\n[b]PAGE 5:[/b]\n- a Starry Skeith teaches rebelling Moehogs a lesson\n\n- golden Peophin hide in the deep in a golden kelp forest. a golden Eelika coils around one's leg.\n\n- a gaggle of snow Poogle prance around a little pink girlie, about to have a successful kidnapping under cover of whirlwind.\n\n- a Ruki exploring stone ruins stumbles into ghost Pikis performing a dark ritual with a Ruki corpse. The corpse begins to seep smoke from the inside.\n\n- Two jelly Quiggle point out a Blechy in their Jelly midst.\n\n- a white Screal brings a present of flowers to its crying gray Yurble owner, who has tucked herself inside a rotting log.\n\n- Skeith lounge on mountain peaks, while Moehogs slog for them in the background.\n\n- a split and striped Shoyru share a romantic flight, while Bluna swim through the air\n\n- Scorchios lounge in a steamy mountain hot spring, heated by baby fireballs. \n\n[b]PAGE 6:[/b]\n- a pink Techo crawls on vines, and spies a tasty Moquot\n\n- a pink mother Tonu watches as her freshly hatched baby meets her petpet, a Duocorn.\n\n- Tuskaninny swim about with maraquan Babaa\n\n- two Fire Uni refuse share the spotlight of the same forest, and start a fire in their petty fighting. fire Catamara float between the trees, drawn to the blaze.\n\n- a Skunk Usul spies a white Usul across branches. This round, I wanted to practice composition, use a limited amount of art supplies, all in preset 3inx3in squares (I did them by hand crudely, which is why the sizes dont perfectly match, haha). I also wanted to try to depict the world of Neopia as I imagine it personally (as someone who grew up with a very specific era of the site, which has changed in its sensibilities many times over the years!).
I also wanted to include petpets and petpetpets (:! to help it feel more like a 'world', and to force more variety.
It took a bit over a week to finish these! I feel like I learned a lot doing them... the right amount of 'challenging' and 'fun'.
PAGE 1:
-yellow Acara investigate the reef. a maraquan Acara hides amongst kelp, tempting with treasure. Floud swim by.
-Buzz plucking fruit soar high above the treetops; one has (accidentally?) caught a Hasee.
-a white Cybunny plays with her two white Garooda amongst the snowfall
-A white and Checkered Draik on their non-Neopian homeworld. (Draik are said to have suddenly appeared in Neopia, as if from another world).
-Snowbunny play with an Abominable Snowball (and steal its arm), while Bruce cavort and argue over who threw a snowball.
-a Bori investigates a rumored cursed cavern. Glack and Mibblie chill about. The Bori power the lanterns lighting the caves with their own souls.
-a faerie Chomby plays in the clouds with her Cloudy friend
-a disco Blumaroo & its petpet, a Fungree, are plunged to the depths. a maraquan Blumaroo girlie flanked by Baby Blu investigate
-plushie Flotsam in an oceanic plushie wonderland, with Plushie Felly & Urgoni

- an orange Eyrie has caught & plucks a purple Magaral. Another stretches on the cliff's edge.
- a yellow Elephante plucks fruit for her plushie friend.
-a checkered Aisha, her Chiruck petpet & her dead younger brother-- his soul sealed to a satchel on her hip-- investigate a magical cavern & rumors surrounding it. He's concerned. Bloop are about.
- an electric Gelert & its petpet, a Flurm, wind up trapped in a pit of Bogie.
- Gnorbu & Slorgs munch grass
- Chia prance and play in the distance, while a green Lupe hides and stalks them under cover of flowers
- a Grarrl rips apart plushie Pawkeets and Snarhook for fun, lounging in a pile of spilled fluff.
-three Ixi siblings prance about a field, and meet a faerie Peo
-a ghost Grundo is greeted in the dead of space by Filamen

- an Island Kougra tries to groom her fussy baby brother while Weewoo investigate baskets of gathered fruit.
- a glowing Kiko dives in among Crabby & Quadrapus
- a maraquan Korbat introduces a little pink girlie to maraquan Snarhooks

- two white Kyrii girlies play with a faerie baby fireball amongst fluffy flowers
- two Krawk girlies relax in a field and play with Glyme
- a split Lupe young herder who prefers playing with her Babaa over guard duty.
- a white Lenny practices her singing while soaring in the clouds; Faelie draw around.
- Meerca run about the forest with their Noilkeet. Pinchit crawl about the brush.
- a young sketch Nimmo meditates herself into an imaginary papercraft paradise, and builds Quintilc friends for company.
- a Lutari paints tree trunks with the help of some Palmplats
- a Mynci investigates a winding dungeon where Blobikins reside, including an unusually large one.
- a young lost Ogrin weeps in the Lost Woods, while Greemble observe from vines.
A Wraith Ogrin approaches from the distance, a magenta haze in its wake.

- a Starry Skeith teaches rebelling Moehogs a lesson
- golden Peophin hide in the deep in a golden kelp forest. a golden Eelika coils around one's leg.
- a gaggle of snow Poogle prance around a little pink girlie, about to have a successful kidnapping under cover of whirlwind.
- a Ruki exploring stone ruins stumbles into ghost Pikis performing a dark ritual with a Ruki corpse. The corpse begins to seep smoke from the inside.
- Two jelly Quiggle point out a Blechy in their Jelly midst.
- a white Screal brings a present of flowers to its crying gray Yurble owner, who has tucked herself inside a rotting log.
- Skeith lounge on mountain peaks, while Moehogs slog for them in the background.
- a split and striped Shoyru share a romantic flight, while Bluna swim through the air
- Scorchios lounge in a steamy mountain hot spring, heated by baby fireballs.

- a pink Techo crawls on vines, and spies a tasty Moquot
- a pink mother Tonu watches as her freshly hatched baby meets her petpet, a Duocorn.
- Tuskaninny swim about with maraquan Babaa
- two Fire Uni refuse share the spotlight of the same forest, and start a fire in their petty fighting. fire Catamara float between the trees, drawn to the blaze.
- a Skunk Usul spies a white Usul across branches. Fleaf wander about.
- a darigan Wocky tries to sleep in its cave while being bothered by its adoring pack of rescued rascals, a mutant Clompkins and litter of mutant Meekins.
- a baby Xweetok girlie receives a plushie Feepit present from an older Xwee boy.
- a spotted Pteri finds a colony of escaped Slorgclops in the brush.
