They cluster in areas for periods of time when a particularly desireable fruit is in season. They aren't gregarious by nature outside of mating times, so they're typically just sortof coexisting and tolerating one another, with bickering and fussiness imminent if someone steps on a tail. Individuals are different degrees of fussy, too. Some are way more resistant to sharing the space! Others are chill and like, \"dang, what's up?\". All bark and no bite though, typically. They have scary teeth to pierce through tough rinds of some things. Most Clasps have no meaningful experience in biting and would rather avoid a real scuffle. \n\n2. a mommy Clasp with her recently-born helpless little baby. Babies start out white, and acquire their signature orange color as they grow up. To make a nest, expectant mothers tug 'vines' of the parasitie white creature covering Gold Cloud's surface, and twist and spin them about to form a structure. The 'vines' have a nice tensile quality, slightly elastic, yet firm, a rubbery texture, with no risk of rotting or breaking, as they are a living, porous (passive) being. They pluck soft grasses from the ground (rarely endeavoring to the floor otherwise!) and pile those up into a nice big nest during pregnancy. Babies are oh-so helpless, and stick strictly to the nest. Even once their eyes open and they become a bit more limber, they ride along their mommy's back. It takes a long time for their tails to grow long and muscular enough to reliably keep them clung to vines.\n\n3. a cliffside scene. These creatures have incredibly narrow legs and flat, thin bodies, allowing them to cling to the cliffsides like shadows. They move with complete control and precision, and are very nonreactive, experts at their stillness. While their bodies are paragons of stillness, they communicate to one another via their weightless, long, prehensile, thin head filaments, which produce gestures, and touch and tickle one another as a form of sociality. Females have distinctly longer necks, a yellow coat, and a caretaking nature, grabbing and plucking the difficult-to-grab fruits and branches to feed their fellows.
