"You don't have to do this, Shadow. Why don't you focus on some deeper conspiracy, like why GUN has never organized a manhunt to capture Dr. Eggman? The man blew up the moon AND the Earth for crying out loud. I don't know why life is still a possibility." he said, walking away. Shadow stared at the needle for a few moments. "... I fear... nothing...!" he grunted, jabbing himself in the arm with it! "I'll learn what I need to with this in my system... Hopefully it isn't a huge mistake..." he thought, leaving the emptied syringe behind as he headed for the door. "...I wasn't kidding about charging you, Shadow." Bucky said before Shadow exited. "...I'm not as perverted as you're about to be..." the rat muttered to himself with a smirk.

During his walk through the corridors of Shadow Arc, on his way to the exit, he passed a room where he could swear he heard the sound of papers being rifled through. He turned in that direction briefly, wondering if there were in fact files on Bucky's recent activities stored nearby. The sound ceased suddenly, and the sound of a drawer closing hastily told Shadow he'd possibly startled someone who wasn't supposed to be there.
