With the "BIT-verse" recaptured and the Masked Fox seemingly having vanished, 2BIT decided it was time for a break. And during this break, he decided to check up on his collection of Pokemon. He took on his blue-haired human trainer form for the trip, while Dusk and Cupie would need new forms to accompany him. "Wait, I never agreed to come along..." I gotta go directly to Paldea because the region is still isolated..." he stated. "In other words, Pokemon Home hasn't been updated, beep." Blocky stated. Why does it take so long for Pokemon Home to update? This should really be something that happens within a month of a new game coming out! "Focus, Writer." 2BIT says to me. I guess this isn't the venue for me to rant. At any rate, Blocky next opened the weird screen-portal from season 1 of this series, and the trio stepped through to arrive in Paldea, a lovely region of the Pokemon world, so long as you don't look too closely at the trees and rock walls. "Hey, guys...? I think I spawned inside the wall..." Dusk murmured, finding himself trapped in the void. 2BIT sighed, and looked up. He's looking for me. Very well, I will place a door on the wall. It appeared, and Dusk walked through it. "I saw others trapped in the wall. Should we go back?" Dusk murmured. "There's no saving all of them, I'm afraid..." 2BIT sighed, leading Dusk and Cupie out of the cave they had spawned in. "...Better call one of those air taxis..." 2BIT murmured.

Soon, they arrived at a Pokemon Center just outside of one of the region's many towns. 2BIT was inquiring about the Pokemon he left in storage while Dusk sat next to him with a sour expression, and Cupie frolicked with some Jigglypuff nearby. They hadn't been there long before a girl approached them, with a green streak in her bangs and a similar school uniform to what the human form of 2BIT was wearing. "Well, look who's here! You got an Azumarill now?? He looks a bit lazy, but I bet a battle will perk him right up!" she said excitedly, wasting little time. "Huh, wha??" Dusk stammered as 2BIT turned with an exasperated look in his eyes. "Uhh... Hey, Nemona... Just as battle-crazy as always, I see..." he murmured as Cupie scampered back over to see what was going on. "And a cute little Pawmi! Remember when I taught you to terrastilize using my Pawmi, 2BIT?" Nemona giggled. Cupie giggled as well at being called cute, while 2BIT gave Nemona an awkward smile. "Ya see, Nemona, I kinda don't have my battle team on me right now. I just got the Poke Ball for Sprout back, but due to a bug in the storage system, the nurse is having trouble accessing my other Pokemon..." he told her. Nemona held up one of her own Poke Balls, a gleam in her eye. "Alright, three on three, then! My Quaquaval's dying for a rematch with your Meowscarada!" she announced. 2BIT wasn't sweating this as much as Dusk was, but either way, Nemona wasn't going to take no for an answer, so a quick battle was going to happen...

2BIT talked Nemona into a double battle to make it quicker (triple battles are illegal in Paldea). Dusk and Cupie now faced off against Pawmi's evolution, Pawmot, as well as a day-form Lycanroc! Cupie ran up in a boxing stance, giggling a bit. "Alright, let's do this! Put up yer dukes!" he said, only for Pawmot to place its paw gently on his head and hold him back effortlessly, even as Cupie kept swinging away. Dusk, meanwhile, was running away from Lycanroc while it tried to use Thunder Fang on him. "Dusk, you have the general type advantage! Stop running and use Aqua Tail or something!" 2BIT shouted. "Do YOU know how to use Aqua Tail??" Dusk complained, not really even wanting to know how his body worked in Pokemon form. Nemona seemed not to notice Dusk and Cupie speaking. "What's wrong, 2BIT? You're not battling like normal..." she murmured. Dusk took a direct hit from Thunder Fang before long, and fled behind 2BIT's leg, holding his wounded tail. "I forfeit! You can send out Sprout!" Dusk whimpered. 2BIT shrugged. "Alright, Sprout, save him..." he murmured. The Meowscarada emerged from the Poke Ball, and very quickly made short work of both of Nemona's Pokemon with its signature move, Flower Trick, dropping explosive seeds on the opposition. Cupie sat back and watched. "Oooh, that kitty's cool!" he smiled. Nemona was excited, too. "That's it! That's my rival! Come on out, Quaquaval!" she said as she recalled her two defeated Pokemon and tossed out her prized dancing duck, Quaquaval!

During the battle, a certain masked fox stood over them on the roof of the Pokemon Center. "You want battles, do you..." he murmured, pointing his finger out into the distance. Strange portals opened up over the region, and from them several Paradox Pokemon emerged! They were futuristic species, robotic and hostile. It wasn't long before 2BIT and Nemona noticed the Iron Pokemon rampaging, terrorizing the wild Pokemon in the area. "Whoa! It's those Pokemon from inside the Great Crater! How'd they get up here??" Nemona said in surprise. "I think our battle better be put on hold! Someone's gotta do something about this!" 2BIT told her, glancing around briefly and spotting the Masked Fox on the roof. 2BIT growled softly, and rushed off in the direction of the Paradox Pokemon with Dusk, Cupie and Sprout following. Nemona was quick to join him. "We can't let those bullies hurt the native Pokemon! I'll help you out!" she offered. Considering how many Paradox Pokemon were rampaging, 2BIT had little choice but to accept her aid. Several Hariyama-like Iron Hands were surrounding some Sudowoodo, while Iron Treads was rolling around like a battle droid, threatening to steamroll some Shroomish and Foongus. Iron Bundle was giving some pretty dubious gifts to some nearby Zorua; the gift of Ice Beams! 2BIT turned to Dusk and Cupie. "We have to split up! Nemona and I will take the big guns, you deal with Iron Bundle!" he told them. "I don't know what Iron Bundle is..." Dusk grumbled. "The little bird things! Come on, let's help those Pokemon!" Cupie said with a bit of an excited giggle. "Why is everything fun for you..." Dusk grumbled as he followed the Pawmi.

Iron Bundle was a robotic Delibird, a Pokemon that resembled Santa Claus as a bird. And when Dusk and Cupie approached, they found two of them. "Wait... wasn't there only one?" Cupie asked. "Zorua has the Illusion ability..." Dusk sighed. "Hmm, how do we find the real one...?" Cupie wondered. He was swiftly frozen by an ice beam while he was thinking. "That's the real one..." Dusk murmured, gulping as the Pokemon turned towards him, aiming its weaponized "bundle" at the Azumarill. "Attacks, attacks... Uhhh..." In his panic, Dusk did a quick jump, and then bounced high into the air, evading the coming Ice Beam. He landed forcefully on Iron Bundle... but Bounce being a flying type move, it didn't really bother the ice type robot very much. At the same time, the disguised Zorua poked at Cupie's icy prison, and the ice suddenly crumbled, releasing Cupie, who seemed unfazed at being frozen. "Of course! Zorua would be using dark type moves, so it can't be the real robot!" he said before noticing Dusk running in circles to avoid Iron Bundle's attacks. "I'm way ahead of you...help!!" he shouted. Cupie leapt into action. "I'll nuzzle him into submission!!" he cried, only to be swiftly frozen again! "Oh, come on! What kind of RNG are we dealing with!?" Dusk complained as Iron Bundle cornered him, its robotic eyes glowing red with anger. "C-can't we talk about this...?" Dusk stammered. He covered his face, expecting to be frozen next, when he heard a small explosion! He looked to find Sprout standing there, Iron Bundle flailing on the ground with its head popped off, though still attached to its body by a spring. The Meowscarada picked up Dusk and hugged him as if to comfort him. "Y-yeah...yeah, okay! Th-thanks..." he babbled as Cupie broke free of the ice and started nuzzling the false Iron Bundle, reverting it to Zorua. Fortunately for Zorua, Cupie still didn't understand how to use electric attacks, so it wasn't paralyzed.

The Paradox Pokemon were soon subdued, but 2BIT had one more bit of business. "Alright, masked fox! Where are you?" he called out. "Up here..." The fox was floating in the air above them. Nemona stared in disbelief while 2BIT looked up at him cautiously. "Why would you even do this? What was the point?" he asked. The Masked Fox folded his arms, looking down on 2BIT and his friends. "I wanted to see how you handle this crisis. That's why I reprogrammed those machines. It wasn't a very good test, however... Your feline being overpowered..." he said. Sprout was at level 100, so he had a point. 2BIT didn't care about that, though. "Leave our worlds alone! I won't play games with you!" he warned. The Masked Fox created another portal, this time intending to leave through it. "Oh, it's not a game... The fate of everything may rest on what you choose to do..." he said before vanishing through the portal. Once he was gone, Nemona turned to 2BIT. "What in the world is going on?? W-was that a Pokemon? A talking Pokemon??" she stammered. Dusk sighed. "Looks like we have to erase some memories... Hey, put me down, huh?" he groaned, still held by Sprout. 2BIT was staring off into space, looking at the spot where the portal had been. "He must've come from this 'Omniverse' that he mentioned before... We need more information on that..." he murmured. But first, he had to see to his Pokemon...and maybe adjust Nemona's memory to exclude the Masked Fox...


And so, Dusk and Cupie returned home, leaving 2BIT to deal with Nemona. It was important that the denizens of each world, for the most part, remained ignorant of the other worlds. So, 2BIT used some of the power that this Writer left him, and wiped her memory of the Masked Fox and the Paradox Pokemon he'd summoned.
