Episode 3: Tattle Tails

It had been a few days after the first emergence of Ladyblaze and Silver Noir. Aside from sneaking out to help Ladybug train with the new recruits and going to school, Adrien had mostly kept to himself, still feeling a bit tortured over what Succubus had made him do to Marinette. She seemed to be avoiding him, too, which made it worse, although Adrien hadn't exactly made it easy for her to get close. Instead of going to school with just his bodyguard, he'd convinced the entourage of Mobians to join him. It was partly to keep close to Silver for a portion of the day. Adrien wasn't sure what to make of the second cat Miraculous, but he figured it would be good to keep tabs on it. On this particular day, as they walked toward the school building, Lila strode up to them, and surprised them by hooking her arm around Tails'. "There you are, my pet! Come on, you promised to help me with the THING, remember?" she said, pressing her foot forcefully onto his. Tails' ears drooped. "Ah, o-of course, how silly of me..." he babbled. "Tails, you know Lila?" Adrien asked awkwardly. The girl shooed him off. "No time to chat, Adrien! Gotta take care of this quick before class!" she insisted, dragging the nervous Tails away. Amy watched them suspiciously. "That girl's up to something..." she murmured. Adrien started toward the school again while still looking back, and accidentally bumped right into Marinette. The pair of them nearly fell over, and both started stammering nervously when they noticed one another. "Ma-marinette! S-sorry, I wasn't watching... Ah! I gotta get to class, if you're here I must be late!" he gasped, rushing through the school doors hastily. Marinette did have a reputation for losing track of time. Marinette called out to him, and then sighed miserably when he disappeared inside the building. Silver stepped next to her, looking at how hastily Adrien had fled the scene. "Strange, I've never seen him get flustered like that all week." he noted of the boy's mannerisms. Marinette held her face in her hands. "It's my fault. I'm sure he hates me after... Never mind!" she groaned, shuffling toward the school building herself. Blaze took her place beside Silver. "Young emotions are... difficult." she murmured, as if she weren't young herself. She always did like to act mature for her age. "Hey, what do you think Tails is doing with that girl?" Sonic asked curiously, changing the subject...


Lila had brought Tails down the street where they could talk more privately. This wasn't the first time she'd cornered him over the past few days, but it was the first time she'd been this brazen as to grab him among his friends. "Well? Any intel? Speak up!" she demanded with a pout. Tails looked at his fingers as he fidgeted with them. "A-adrien's still been staying in his room, pretty much. I think he's upset about something, but I can't figure out what." he stated. Lila growled and stomped her foot. "Useless! What good is living there if you can't get me any juicy gossip, or some tidbit I can use to wrap him around my finger!? Do you want me to tell your friends how we met? Do you, my pet?" she asked in a threatening tone, lifting his chin up to force him to look at her. "N-no, ma'am, please!" he stammered. Lila flicked his nose and snickered. "Then remember, I own you now, pet. You have to do what I say. So, figure it out!" she huffed before turning to walk away. Tails plopped on the floor, pulling out a wrinkled piece of paper concealed in his sock. "Adrien doesn't deserve to have his secret exposed...but mine will be if I don't..." he whimpered, hugging his knees.

The window in Hawk Moth's lair twisted open in its mechanical manner. "A shameful secret, bringing on more shame, more pain! Fuel for my Akuma!" Hawk Moth mused, prepping a butterfly and sending it on its way, "Evilize this miserable soul!" he shouted, twirling his staff. "How dramatic. I'll be in the lab!" Dr. Eggman murmured. "...Lab?" Hawk Moth questioned. There was no time for that, though. The Akuma soon found Tails and flew into the wrinkled paper, linking the fox to the villain. "Tattle Tails, I am Hawk Moth. You feel trapped under the weight of your dark secrets? Tangled in a web you can't escape from? I'm giving you the power to entangle others in prisons of their own secrets! Uncover the greatest secret of all, the identity of Ladybug and Cat Noir! Bring me their Miraculous!" the villain ordered. Tails stood up with a smirk. "Their secrets will smother them if they don't tell!" he declared as the Akuma transformed him!


As Marinette took her seat in class next to Alya, her friend could see the despair on her face. "Girl, spill. You've been looking like your cat died all week!" she said, maybe a bit more forceful than Marinette wanted to deal with right now. "More like my hamster died..." Marinette sighed, resting her head on the desk sadly. Adrien was in much the same pose, and Nino took notice as he sat beside him. "Bro, are you alright?" he asked. "Still don't wanna talk about it, Nino..." Adrien sighed. His friend placed a hand on his shoulder. "Here if ya need me, dude." he stated. Alya observed Adrien and Marinette and gasped. "Please, tell me. It involves Adrien, doesn't it?" she realized. "Drop it. Drop it forever..." Marinette sniffled. Just as the teacher was about to call the class to attention, a certain kitsune burst into the room, nine tails flailing behind him and the wrinkled paper attached to a spiked collar! "Tattle Tails is here to expose your secrets! ...Where's Lila?! Cutting class!" he snarled. The teacher stammered in surprise. "L-lila? She's out...sick..." she stammered. "Lies! Let's see who else is hiding something! ...Adrien, you're excused. I already know your secret." Tails said. "Y-you know my...secret?" the blonde stammered nervously, eyes darting back and forth. Tails then flew through the room, his nine tails extending and touching the rest of the students! Any with a secret would have one or more fluffy tails burst from their hips and coil around their bodies, squeezing them tight! "You can only escape by exposing your secrets! Muahahaha!" Tails laughed. Marinette had fortunately ducked under her desk when Tails burst in, and was busy sneaking out while her classmates struggled in the grip of furry tails. "I admit it! I borrowed Chloe's makeup and gave my dolls a makeover!" Sabrina wailed. "I cheated on my last math test!" Kim admitted. "I actually don't mind how these fox tails are rubbing my body. Like, at all!" Alya blushed. At each admission, a tail vanished. "Aww..." Alya groaned disappointedly. While Marinette had to sneak out, Adrien was able to rush out freely. "Don't worry, I'll get help!" he shouted. This was necessary, as a few students refused to spill their secrets. "Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous! I have no secrets! Why are five tails squeezing me?! Let go! Yuck!" shouted the agitated Chloe.

Adrien and Marinette each ran in different directions, with the boy heading outside. "Where are we going?" Plagg asked. Adrien pointed down the street at Silver. "There! Go transform him first, Plagg! This is a teachable moment, right? That's what Ladybug would say!" he mused, thinking of their training sessions together the past few days. Plagg shrugged and flew toward Silver while Adrien nonchalantly started walking away. As Plagg got in Silver's face and started talking, Blaze glanced back, catching sight of Adrien, and only Adrien, outside the school. "Hmm...interesting." she mused. While Silver was busy transforming outside, Marinette transformed in the locker room, and was surprised when Tikki still wasn't absorbed into her earrings. "Oh, gosh! Marinette! This must mean that Blaze is still close by! Yes, I feel her Miraculous!" the Kwami said excitedly. Ladybug nodded. "She's probably outside. Go and find her, Tikki, but be careful!" she said. To her surprise, she met Silver Noir out in the main area of the school. "You're not the cat I was expecting!" she observed. "Well, I hear it's my friend causing the trouble again..." Silver stated, Plagg having given the details. Sure enough, Tattle Tails hovered into the area next, glaring down at them. "Silver! Don't get in my way! I need to make Lila pay! And Ladybug, you must tell us your secrets, too!" he declared, swooping down after them! Ladybug leapt aside while Silver floated out of the way! "My only secret is my identity, and I can't part with that one!" Ladybug said, clutching her yo-yo. Tails smirked, tapping his tail against a wall, and phasing it through the wall! It then popped out of the floor at Ladybug's feet and poked her, causing two tails to emerge from her hips and coil around her body! "No!!" she gasped, falling over! Tails grinned. "Seems you have two secrets! And you have to tell both to escape both tails...or let me take your Miraculous!" he laughed. Silver quickly lifted Ladybug into his arms. "You've got another bug and cat to go through first! Hang on, Milady!" he said, flying out over the walls, the school having a uniquely open-air main area. At about the same time, Ladyblaze and Cat Noir raced in to face Tattle Tails!

"Tails! What's happened to you?" Blaze called out in concern. "Looks like we've got quite the tall tail developing, wouldn't you say, Firebug?" Cat Noir asked whimsically, twirling his staff briefly before holding it up across the back of his neck. Blaze groaned softly. Cat just couldn't resist giving any Ladybug a cute nickname. Tails landed on the ground and plunged his nine tails into the floor. "No tall tails...only truths! Tell me what hides behind the Cheshire grin, Cat!" the fox laughed, only for Sonic and Amy to rush in next, drawing his attention! "Tails! Snap out of it! You saw what this did to me!" Amy shouted. Sonic shrugged and ran at his friend. "I'll get ya back, bro!" he shouted, only to trip over a tail tip poking out of the ground! "Wha-!?" Sonic fell over, wrapped in tails now, and before anything further could happen, Hawk Moth communicated with Tattle Tails. "Leave them and go after Ladybug! If you get her Miraculous, they can't defeat you!" With that, Tails took off through the air! "Tell your secret and you can escape, Sonic!" he shouted in parting. Ladyblaze and Cat Noir started to give chase, while Amy sat next to Sonic. "...What's your secret?" she asked, leaning in close. "N-nothing! I got nothing!" Sonic groaned. Amy started to touch the exposed parts of his body gently as the tail caressed him. "Is it that you enjoyed Succubus' company?" she smirked devilishly. Sonic squirmed nervously. "A-amy! D-don't touch me there! Amy!!" he gasped nervously. "Tell meeee!" Amy giggled. In the meantime, Blaze and Cat dashed out of the school together, heading after Tails. "Be careful. We don't know if we're running into an ambush, Adrien." she said, making Cat look at her with wide eyes. "Gaah... Y-you know?" he stammered nervously. She looked at him blankly. "How anyone doesn't is beyond me." she murmured. He looked a bit bashful, chuckling softly. "W-well, be that as it may, let's not let the cat out of the bag, please, Firebug?" he asked with a sweet smile. Despite the cat ensemble, he was excellent at puppy dog eyes. "F-fine... But we're gonna talk about the name 'Firebug!'" she stammered. She was surprised she was noticing, but he was incredibly cute.


Silver flew Ladybug to a rooftop where they hopefully wouldn't be discovered, and tried to tug the tails off of her, but it wasn't working. In fact, it was making her yelp in pain. "Sorry, sorry!" he murmured, "What should I do?" he wondered. Ladybug looked around worriedly. She felt the tails coiled around her, squeezing her in a way that reminded her of when the brainwashed Adrien held her. She gulped, not wanting to think about that moment right now. Still, it made her realize a secret she could tell. "I'll... I'll break the spell... I'll tell you..." she murmured, looking at Silver with a deep blush. He placed a hand on her shoulder. "Whatever you have to say, I won't judge you." he told her. She bit her lip. She knew who he was living with, and she feared he might tell him. "This is a secret..." she began, to which Silver nodded. "I won't tell." he promised. She inhaled sharply. Ladybug was needed. She had to escape, no matter the cost. "I... I'm in love with... Adrien Agreste..." she whimpered, her face becoming as crimson as her outfit. Having said this, one of the two tails vanished, and Silver smiled at her. "That wasn't so bad, was it? Don't worry, I won't tell him." he said, noticing the other tail, "I think you need to share your identity... Unless there's something else?" There was the option to bring up her encounter with Adrien...but he knew about it. It was less a secret and more a source of inner turmoil. Ladybug knew she had no choice. "Silver Noir... I'm trusting you... Don't let me down." she sighed, looking around carefully to be sure they were alone, "My real name...is Marinette Dupain-Cheng. I...sit behind Adrien in class..." Giving him this information was enough to cause the second tail to vanish, freeing her! "I guess the truth WILL set you free, heh!" Silver smiled, helping her to her feet, "Nice to meet you, Marinette." Before they could speak further, they heard a frightened scream coming from somewhere across the street. "...Lila!" Ladybug gasped, tossing her yo-yo and swinging in the direction of the scream with Silver following close behind!

Tattle Tails had cornered Lila in an alleyway, and now the prolific liar was wrapped up in quite a few tails, keeping her immobilized on the ground while the fox glared down at her. "Admit what you forced me to do!" he shouted, only to be smacked in the back by a pair of yo-yos! Both Ladybugs had arrived, with both Noirs close behind! "Looks like this foxhunt's over! You can't fight all four of us!" Cat Noir warned. "Oh, can't I?" growled Tails, hovering up with his back to the wall, and phasing his tails through that wall, sending them bursting out of the ground elsewhere in the attempt to grab the heroes! Blaze enveloped herself in fire to repel the attack, while Silver floated out of reach and Ladybug whipped her yo-yo about to repel the tails. "The Akuma must be in his collar!" she suggested, prompting Cat Noir to salute her. "I'm on it, Milady! Time for this kitty to pounce!" he cried, launching himself towards Tails by extending his staff under himself! However, Tails retracted his nine tails quickly and whipped them at Cat Noir, causing the hero to grow a new tail above his belt that constricted him in a tight grip! Tails caught him by the belt-tail and hovered to the rooftops with him! "I'll force the secrets out of you before I take your Miraculous! Your friends will be too busy to stop me!" he laughed, landing on the roof beside Cat Noir before plunging his tails down into the rooftop under him! Cat Noir struggled against his tail, watching the fox nervously. He could try a Cataclysm on the tail...but that might kill him, all things considered. "Ha! I can break the spell by telling a secret! Let's see... My favorite color isn't actually black!" He was trying to cheat by telling innocuous things, but it didn't work. "Um... I don't even own a cat in real life? I'm allergic to feathers!" It wasn't working. Tails shook his head. "Clearly these aren't secrets! You must confess! And I'll make you..." he smirked.

Below, the two Ladybugs and Silver Noir found tails popping out of the walls and floor of the alley, seeking to block and delay them from rescuing Cat Noir. "Silver, can you move them?" Blaze asked. He shrugged hopelessly. "My powers can't get a grip on them!" he stated. "We need to get past those tail traps fast! Who knows what torture Tattle Tails would use to make Kitty talk!" Ladybug said urgently. They heard him cry out above them, but they had no idea what was really happening. Tails had wrested Cat's legs apart, and was grinding his crotch against the human boy's. "Could one of your secrets be that you enjoy this?" he asked with a soft, playful tone. Hawk Moth's eyes twitched on his end. "Wh-what are you doing, Tattle Tails??" he stammered, "The Miraculous Ladybugs should have purged Succubus' influence!" The fox ignored him, his hands slipping under the constrictive tail to feel up Cat Noir's body. That leather suit left little to the imagination, and that face, though masked, was adorable. "You're such a pretty kitty... Can I tell you a secret?" Tails whispered as Cat's cheeks flushed deep red. "I-I think I can guess it...ahh!" He felt Tails' dick growing, teasing his crotch. Ladybug heard him cry out for her. She couldn't take it. Her partner was in trouble! "Lucky Charm!!" she called, using her yo-yo to call forth... "A...big springboard?" she yelped as it nearly landed on top of her. It looked just like a spring from Sonic's world. Blaze was quick to jump on it, and it launched her up past the reach of the flailing tails! The others followed behind her, and they soon landed on the roof only to groan at the sight of Tails fucking Cat Noir. "Again?!" Blaze groaned. "Omigosh, Cat!" Ladybug gasped, quickly flinging her yo-yo at Tails, which coiled around him and pulled him off her partner! While he was busy struggling and trying to retract his tails, Silver quickly detached the spiked collar with his psychokinesis! "Take it, Blaze!" he shouted, holding it in position for her to hit with her own yo-yo, doused in fire to burn the paper attached! The butterfly flew out, Ladybug quickly purified it, and the Miraculous Ladybugs burst from the spring to remove all the tails from everyone...including Sonic, Lila and Chloe. The two Ladybugs and Silver Noir all exchanged a quick fist bump. "Pound it!" Ladybug smiled before turning to Cat. "Oh, Kitty... I hope you're alright..." she said sympathetically. Cat got up and stretched his arms. "Don't worry, Bugaboo. He didn't ruin me for you!" he said with a flirty smirk, earning an exasperated sigh from Ladybug. "Yeah, you're fine..." she said. Tails rubbed the back of his head anxiously. "I-I'm so sorry... I let that Lila girl make me crazy, and then I..." he stammered. Ladybug patted his head. "Oh, believe me, I get Lila making you crazy. I GET it..." she said. "If you have a problem, Tails, you can come to us. Don't be embarrassed." Blaze told him. "Yeah, cuz I mean, nothing could be more embarrassing than what you just did to Cat Noir anyway!" Silver chuckled. Cat and Tails both blushed hard. "H-hey, I can't help it if even animals can't resist me!" Cat said, turning away to hide his embarrassment. Far away, Hawk Moth watch as his round window twisted closed. "Your secrets remain safe today, Ladybug and Cat Noir. But now I have seen you all work together with the animals, and can plan my next move... I only hope the next villain could just NOT be a pervert!" he groaned, rubbing his forehead in disdain.


While the others had all left, Ladybug and Silver Noir remained close to the alley, and detransformed together. "I should properly introduce myself. My name is Silver the Hedgehog." the psychic said cheerfully, extending his hand. "Marinette..." the girl replied, shaking it, "Now...you promise not to tell anyone, right?" she added nervously. Silver chuckled softly. "Of course, but you should talk to Adrien." he told her. Marinette looked away. "One more secret... Adrien and I h-h-had sex...during the Succubus...and I think he..." she stammered, tearing up. Silver placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Listen to me. There's no way Adrien will hold something outside of your control against you." he told her. Marinette dried her tears and gave him a hint of a smile. "Thanks...kitten." she said.

Blaze and Adrien were joined by Tikki and Plagg when they detransformed together a short distance away from the school. "What happened back there...we never speak of it again." Adrien huffed. Blaze nodded. "Fair enough. And maybe it's best Tails never learns you're Cat Noir. But Silver should." she said. Plagg nodded. "It would make things easier for me! Less sneaking around!" he pointed out. Tikki glared at him. "Ohh, no! It's bad enough Blaze figured Adrien out! The less people know, the better! If Hawk Moth Akumatizes one of us, we all could get exposed!" she pointed out. Adrien scratched his head. "Why has nobody explained it to me that way before? ...Now I REALLY wanna put an end to Hawk Moth..." he murmured. "That's why, cuz you'll do something stupid!" Plagg stated. "Speaking of stupid... I'm late for class!!" Adrien gasped, rushing off with Plagg hastily following! Amy chased Sonic out of the school as Adrien approached the door. "Sooonic! Don't keep secrets from me!!" she called out. "Call it even after you hypnotized me!" Sonic shouted back. The display distracted Adrien long enough for Plagg to slip into his coat, and Marinette to bump into him again! "Ooof! S-sorry! Late for class! Aaah!" she babbled, skittishly rushing off. Adrien watched her, guilt crossing his eyes. Before he could follow, Tails grabbed his arm. "Huh? Oh, it's you..." he gasped, a nervous blush appearing on his face. He didn't expect to see the fox again so soon. Tails held up the paper from before, restored by the Miraculous Ladybugs, and handed it to Adrien. "Lila manipulated me to snoop. I won't tell that girl...that you like her..." he said, turning and running off quickly. Adrien's eyes widened. "That girl? Marinette? No, she's just a friend..." he babbled, looking at the paper curiously. His eyes widened. It was a love letter he'd written...for Ladybug. Describing her bluebell eyes, her pigtailed hair... It was a draft he'd rejected. He looked at it thoughtfully. He'd dismissed Marinette as a candidate for Ladybug before... He shook his head hard and crumpled the paper. "Nice thought, Adrien. Bad enough to have raped your best friend, but the love of your life? No, she's not Ladybug. She'd never let me do that to her. She'd transform and save the day like always." he said, walking into the school, "...I don't deserve her..." he sighed.
