The multiverse... A flimsy excuse by arguably lazy writers to get away with basically literally anything. Because literally anything IS possible if you simply say it is another universe. Plumbers can be super. Hedgehogs can be fast. Kingdom Hearts can make sense. It can happen... I am The Writer of this multiverse. I am your guide to the adventures of BIT Squad...

This lazy writer has decided to speed along this story arc. And what better way than with a sort of montage? You may ask, "How does a montage work in writing?" Well, I'm sure you'll get it by the end. We begin with 2BIT, rolling out of control inside of some kind of clear ball, weaving around bananas on some sort of checkerboard surface. "What...is...even...happening??" he cried, trying to stop rolling so he could make sense of things. However, another ball smacked into him, and both balls started rolling down a bit of a slide. "AAAAAAAAAHH!!" shouted 2BIT, barely taking note of who was in the other clear ball. It was a...blue monkey. A Monkey-BIT, as it were. He seemed much more in control of the situation, and laughed as he rolled ahead of 2BIT. The fox tried to get a handle on his situation, trying to run inside the ball rather than just stumble around. He noticed another slide running parallel to the one he was on. He could see Aiai rolling down that slide. Yes, this was the world of Super Monkey Ball...for some reason. "You know, I don't think a rolling Monkey-BIT is really a threat to the multiverse... S-someone portal me home before I barf all over this sphere!" 2BIT shouted. There was no portal, and 2BIT noticed his companion on this expedition rolling down behind Aiai. It was Tails, and he seemed to know how to handle that ball...wait, was he shorter? It was Classic Tails, the Squad's Tails was stumbling around behind him. "Waaaah, if I knew I was already here, I'd have stayed home! Wh-what am I doing here anyway??" Tails shouted as he spun his tails to stop stumbling about. 2BIT shrugged. Perhaps this Classic Tails had some sort of "Mania" about bananas...

Meanwhile, Cupie and Dusk had arrived at a sort of "Forgotten Land." They found themselves in an abandoned, ruined city. Could there really be an alternate version of 2BIT here? Lemme go, lemme go!" the mouse shouted, "Kirby, help!" Dusk froze at hearing that name, and turned nervously to see a pink ball of a creature behind him. Dusk released the mouse and fled behind a car as Kirby began to inhale. "I guess this is how it ends..." Dusk whimpered. The car was lifted off the ground, and...stuck in Kirby's mouth! Please, get me out of this nightmare, before we all get eaten, crushed, or absorbed by some eldritch demon!" he begged. Cupie chuckled softly. "Oh, you sillies." And that was all the Kirby writing I'll ever likely do.

Now 2BIT found himself in an odd sort of museum...or was it a temple? Seemed more like an office as he found himself suddenly seated before a desk, and sitting across from him was a bearded man with a broad, red cape. "Huh? Doctor...Strange??" the blue fox babbled. "Ah, you've heard of me. Well, that saves time. Long story short, I know this isn't your dimension. We can't have any incursions here, so I'm gonna have to ask you to return to your dimension of origin." the human stated, the corners of his cape seeming to act with a will of their own, preparing a cup of tea on the desk in front of him as Strange sat with hands folded. 2BIT chuckled awkwardly. "Didn't actually know we connected to this multiverse. Well, I'm looking for someone here, gotta drag them back with me, too..... Incursion? Is that like the Boom universe where dimensions fall apart from interaction with other dimensions?" he wondered. Strange motioned next to the desk, twirling his ringed finger to open a pair of portals. Someone was falling from one portal into the next in an endless loop. It looked like 8BIT wearing a cape and a horned helmet. "I believed this to be a Loki Variant. I guess you're, what...his Thor?" Strange asked. 2BIT watched 8BIT falling endlessly, looking a bit distracted by the sight. "Hm? Well... I suppose I can wield thunder..." the fox chuckled. The lower portal closed, and 8BIT smacked down onto the floor, groaning. "I've been falling for bloody MONTHS!!" he shouted. 2BIT lifted him by the cape. "Alright, we're off... Careful messing with the multiverse, Strange. I don't need a Thanos wreaking havoc in my worlds..." he said, dragging 8BIT with him as he left. Strange sighed and lifted the tea to taste it. "Ugh, less sugar next time..." he complained to the cape.

Let's check in with other members of the squad again. Here we find Vixy in a version of Paris, sipping a cappuccino as she gazes up at the Eiffel Tower. "Seems peaceful enough around here. Maybe there isn't a BIT here....huh?" As if to prove her wrong straight away, she spotted a version of 2BIT leaping up the tower. He was dressed all in black, wearing a mask, and adorned with false cat ears on his head. Vixy glanced up the tower to see where he was going, and she groaned to see a version of 8BIT up there as well, dressed in a purple suit with a silver mask. "Muahahahaha! Foolish Foxy Noir, you are no match for the power of BIT Moth!" 8BIT cackled. Vixy raised an eyebrow, watching as the costumed BIT-foxes started fighting, a stick clashing against a cane. It was like a child-friendly sword fight. "Do I really gotta climb the Eiffel Tower to catch these nerds?" she complained. However, a girl in spotted red tights swung up there instead, joining the battle with some sort of magic yo-yo. She, however, was human. "Wait, so this world has a Ladybug superhero, too, and it's not me?? Not fair, why do 2BIT and 8BIT get all the alternate selves??"  Vixy grumbled, suddenly feeling a bit jealous. She stepped back as Foxy Noir fell out of the tower, landing at her feet in a heap! "Ughhh, what a cat-astrophe..." he groaned, sitting up slowly. Vixy grabbed him by the tail before he could leap off again. "Hang on! Carry me up there!" she insisted. Noir looked at her in confusion. "Huh? Do I...know you?" he asked. "Never mind that! We're out of time! Let's go catch that phony moth qui-" Nope, time off. We'll just have to imagine how this ends. Next montage event, let's go!!

Finally, 2BIT arrived in a world he didn't recognize. Sleeping under a tree was a strange black furred critter with very long ears. "Waiiiiit, wait, wait! That's Klonoa! This is preposterous! I know the Writer doesn't know this world any better than I do! I can't be here, how can you write about a world you know nothing about!?" Shouted the obviously insane 2BIT.... ... ...
