The head came out weird (I should have gone with more of a side view, but I wasn't confident in my ability to draw wings from that angle), I fucked up the Deathbringer's robes (it should conceal her boobies lol which would explain why people thought she was a dude.) and the sprite's colors are like, literally all the same shade of black (I use the sprites for color references when possible)\n\nAnyway, Hope (as seen without wings and with normal-ish clothes in the 2nd pic) was Bucky's girlfriend, and his muse as he planned out his early experiments. She was mortally wounded protecting Bucky from GUN forces, and Bucky believed her to have died.\nHowever, she was found by the Doomsayer, who revived her, transforming her into a black-winged Divine. Hope became a killing machine, using her power largely to protect Bucky and his legacy, but also serving the Doomsayer to a degree. Ashamed of what she'd become, Hope concealed her identity, even going so far as to disguise her gender and voice (I didn't draw the gizmo she wore on her beak because this is enough of a train wreck already).\n\nShe died protecting Bucky during the fall of Demon Island (see GeneX - Knuckles the Echidna).
