mouth of a cave totally surrounded in near darkness by a dense canopy from the surrounding forest. The strain on their faces slowly eased away as they looked into the darkness before them as at last their quest, that took already six month to complete, seemed to come to an end. And it wasn’t due to any kind of lack in their experience for doing it\n\nTheir target always seemed to be two paces ahead of them whenever they tried to get him. After their last failed try of getting the rogue in their paws a lone birch tree standing by the abandoned hideout had to withstand the fury of both the tiger and the Ifrit Dragon. That tree’s trunk now was shredded into small splinters while the crown was a pile of black ash already blown into all 4 directions.\n\nBoth were on the verge of giving up after that attempt when, as they reached the nearest town expecting another futile attempt to get nearer to the fox thief, by whatever luck suddenly shined on them said fox was just leaving the tavern in the opposite direction not realizing who had just laid eyes on him.
