This picture took an entire day, mostly due to my own difficulties as an artist. But, after a lot of effort, I've designed armor that I'm quite proud of, with nice colors that compliment eachother well. In fact, my favorite aspect of this picture is the coloring and shading. As usual, I have severe issues with my lineart, posing, and sparse backgrounds. But nevermind that. After the intense struggle of this particular piece, I've learned a lot about myself and the problems that follow in my wake. The constant whining on Twitter, which I said I was going to stop... pushing away friends and customers who I rely on for love and support... it's become clear to me what I need to do. I think it's time I take a step back and really make a change. This picture is GOOD, at least for the most part. I drew something I wanted to draw, which are fantasy armor and weapon designs. That, in itself, should be good enough to me.
