Ah yes, this commission for Mattavery turned up some pretty spectacular results for $20.00. I am more and more surprised at what I am capable of doing with this new digital painting style that relies on no skeletons, reference points, or any 'bases' but just slapping down a solid color form and adding differing shades to it. This image is just glowing literally...

Yep, this is also based on a RP I had with a brony friend of mine. A very fat Rarity is distressed at her slowly expanding waistline and tape measure snapping rear, but the equally as fat Spike continues to help her design dresses for herself and some of her own friends who are slowly fattening up as Ponyville embraces a 'flabulous' body fad. Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are obviously exceptions here, as their energy is boundless and they are always moving. But eventually, as Spike helps Rarity make a new dress for her large form, she can no longer take Spike's wonderful compliments and she finally feels good about herself. She begins to find a certain kind of beauty in fatness as long as it is well groomed and managed. Rarity then proceeds to have some 'fun' with Spike we don't see on 'camera' during the beloved show... I am sure most of these ponies have huge amounts of hormones like the animals they are anyway. LOL
