I spent 2 hours on this, first drawing and shading with pencil, then outline with a dip pen. I left the shading pencil, and practiced the same shading technique with the hair. Trust me, I am NOT a bad artist, and I care about doing good. I understand shading and form very well, it's just that I am so LAZY! I always treat art like a chore and like there is a time qouta to it...
