Yeah, the box had a phone in it which NoCNS would presumably contact them with, but they went home too quickly because there was a second box in the same area that the first pointed them to. Without any contact, and after finding nothing on the phone afterhe unlocked it, Sweguy accelerated the happenings by giving noCNS a deadline to call by or the phone would get burned. At the same time, one namefag turned out to be a decoy who had used the erong trip for months on the orders of the original (maybe) and had no idea what happened to him, if he was still alive or if he was the one who started the threads.

So tensions ran high, anons got paranoid, in the end CNS didn’t call, and the phone got torched, in-thread.

Except Sweguy saved the SIM, and showed everyone afterwards, pic related. That was the last event I know about, because communication became impossible around a wall of anons bawling their eyes out because a /mlp/ ARG to find an especially weird horsefucker wasn’t board relevant and no fun allowed. Then mods started deleting threads with our OP, and whatever happened next you’ll have to guess or hunt for on desu.

let me break the illusion real quick. Literally everyone involved in this ARG/game/le ebic ruse understands that. We all understand that it is 100% impossible for someone to remove their central nervous system. We know that its just some guy dicking around. We play along for the same reason people watch, for example, WWE, or literally any work of fiction. Theyre there to have fun and enjoy where the story takes them.

It may not be pony related but is certainty board related. If there are to be 0 exceptions to the "it must be pony related" rule then the Secret Santa, 4CC, Winterball, and to come extent a good portion of the CYOA threads should all be deleted.

No one was "hiding" it. The reason the threads kept being called waifu claiming threads was because the very first thread noCNS made in 2015 was a waifu claiming thread and it was a reference to that.

I totally understand where you're coming from with why you think it should be deleted. This is a board for MLP: FiM however the place gets gloomier and gloomier everyday. Mods keep banning stuff no one has a problem with, making silly rules that help nothing, and over all limiting the freedom of what we can and cannot post. If every so often a thread comes along that doesn't quite follow the rules 100% but everyone in that thread is having a good time + isnt just shitposting then just blacklist if you have a problem with it

Another argument I heard for the noCNS threads deletion is that it should make way for the quality threads like your meme says. But where are all these quality threads you speak of? Are they the threads you like? Are they the threads that are popular? Are they the threads that encourage discussion? As far as I can tell the board of /mlp/ considered the noCNS threads to be quality seeing as how it won thread of the year. As far as I'm concerned that fact that people were engaging with one another, having fun, producing content, and containing themselves to one thread, that qualifies as a quality thread.

Also another argument I forgot to address is
